Pucisca, the second largest settlement on the island, is known for its experts in stone, white roofs, rich history and good food.
Throughout history this was the village of thirteen castles, defense towers, due to dangers coming from the sea. The towers were eventually lost and adapted to different urban needs, but it is still possible to see and visit a couple of preserved and rebuilt ones.
The combination of defense fortifications, Renaissance and Baroque architecture and encounter with the specific local population will give you an unforgettable experience. We are convinced that you will bring one of the stone souvenirs home with you, because Pucisca, as they say, was made on the stone, by the stone and of the stone.
