Dragon's Cave

Dragon's Cave is one of the most attractive monuments depicting the desert life of the Glagolitic priests from the 15th century.

It is an hour's walk away from the small village of Murvica on the southern slopes of the island of Brac.

The cave is twenty meters long and divided into four rooms. It is full of reliefs made in rocks that represent the life of priests in those times, and are rich in motifs from Slavic mythology and Christian iconography.

Extremely interesting due to the evidence of the reconciliation of two separate traditions - Christian and Gentile, it will reveal why island Brač is considered one of the most magical islands in the Adriatic.
