Lozisca

Somewhat newer settlement on island Brac, but just as magical as the rest of this island. Full of narrow winding stone streets, it is famous by its high, decorated bell tower from the second half of 19th century, the work of famous sculptor Ivan Rendic.

Apart from the bell tower, it is important to mention the parish church of St. John and St. Paul from the year 1820.

Today, this village counts around 150 souls, but the tradition of Lozisca has proven to be strong - therefore the 'ancient spirit of the village' can still be felt through the numerous popular pieties.
