When you get to Brač from Split, you will first see the port and town Supetar, the center of the island that was named after the patron saint Peter.

The busiest point of the island, especially in the summer months, Supetar is home to one fifth of Brač habitants. It hides many sights - a cemetery with many sculpture works by artist Ivan Rendić and a famous mausoleum, the most significant work of sculptor Tomo Rosandic.
